The Ultimate in
Design Flexibility plus Quiet Operation
Don't let the roar of a noisy bath fan disrupt your peace and quiet. Protect your bath and your sanity with Fantech Premium Bath Fans. Unlike standard bath exhaust fans, the motor of a Fantech fan mounts away from the living area. The result is powerful yet quiet ventilation you can live with.
A New Level of Flexibility
No other exhaust fan in the market today offers more design flexibility at installation. Several exhaust grilles can easily be connected to one remote fan motor for effective spot ventilation in a single bath. Or, use one fan to ventilate two back-to-back baths.
Perfect Spot Ventilation
Small, unobtrusive Ceiling Grilles with or without Lights mount in the shower, over the toilet or over the whirlpool tub. Its the ideal way to exhaust contaminants quickly and efficiently while reducing the damaging effects of mold-causing moisture.

You'll find Fantech
bathroom exhaust fans specified on the
blueprints of top architects and
designers. Why?
Simple. They're quiet, efficient and
reliable, and they're easy to install.
Better still, Fantech offers a choice of
interior and exterior mounted fans. So
there's a Fantech bathroom exhaust fan
for every situation.
Contractor Friendly Installation
Fantech Premium Bath Fans are "flex duct friendly" making installation fast and easy. We recommend:
- Use insulated flexible duct. (Insulated flex duct allows sound from the fan to dissipate gradually so that it can not be heard in the bathroom.)
- Ideally you should have at least 8 feet of flex duct between ceiling grilles and fan.
Combination Bath
Fans – Dual Grilles
Fantech takes the
work out of choosing the right bath fan
for your new home or remodeling project.Premium
Bath Combination Units. Combo
units include one exhaust fan, one lit
and one unlit Ceiling Grille. A single
model number provides the exact bath fan
components to install an effective
two-location exhaust system.
Want
to add an additional exhaust location?
Just choose an additional Ceiling Grille
with or without a light to turn your one
or two location bath fan into a fabulous
multiport system.

SIZING FOR BATHS OVER 100 SQ. FT. Ventilation
for baths over 100 square feet is
calculated based on the fixtures
in the bath. Allow 50 CFM for
each standard toilet, shower or
tub. Whirlpool and jetted tubs
are calculated at 100 CFM. Add up
the CFMs for all fixtures and
you'll have the total CFMs
required.
|
EXAMPLE
11' x 14' Bath = 154 square feet
1 Toilet + 1 Shower + 1 Tub = 150
CFM
1 Toilet 50 CFM
1 Shower 50 CFM
1 Tub 50 CFM
Total 150 CFMYOU
WILL NEED
A 150 CFM FAN.

NOTE:
Fantech recommends that steam
showers use a separate fan on a
timer so that the fan may be shut
off during shower use and then
run afterward to dry the shower
stall.
For proper airflow in typical
installations (when duct losses
aren't calculated), use the
0.4"Ps (static pressure)
rating point for correct fan
selection. |
